Sk:n Vitamin Rich Cleanser - Dry/Sensitive | Review

Im always on the look out for new Cleansers to replace my Liz Earle I always go back to so when I was asked to try one of the Sk:n range I knew their Vitamin Rich Cleanser was what I wanted to test.

Fight Fit Friday - Superfood Salad Recipe | Health and Lifestyle

This week as seen me do light exercise like walking the dogs, squats and a few light sit ups. This will be the last week that my main focus will be on food only and exercise will be increased. 

Here are the meals I have been enjoying this week on a typical day 

greek yogurt

Breakfast - Granola with greek yogurt, bananas, blueberries and a drizzle of honey. 
I have also been eating egg and spinach omelette and overnight oats.

 Lunch - Rice with feta, spinach and a mix of seeds for crunch.
I have also had this week a beef with apple salad and a chicken wrap.

Evening meals have been the most adventurous I love my superfood salad (recipe below). 
I have also made steak with sweet potato and mixed seed rostis and pork loin and sweet potato in a homemade peanut sauce with rice (amazing fakeaway)

If I have needed a snack I have had an apple or rice cake with peanut butter or Hummus 

Superfood Salad Recipe

1 cup of Quinoa 
1 cup of lentils
1 cup of chic peas 
4 Slices lean bacon 
1 finely chopped pepper 
1 diced red onion
quarter of a cucumber finely diced
handful of roughly chopped spinach
4 chopped dates 
pomegranate seeds from half a fruit 
juice from 1 lemon 

Cook lentils, chickpeas and quinoa to pack instructions and mix together in a large bowl. 
Add all the chopped fruit and salad and squeeze over the lemon and mix. 

This does me 4 meals and is perfect for popping into tubs for work lunches. 

You can add any other salad items you want I have used beetroot, carrot and tomatoes in the past and all work well. Also it is nice with a diced red chilli for a little kick. 

Also if you are vegetarian or vegan the bacon can be left out.
