Lucris Washi Cloth | Review

I have been using the Washi Cloth* for quite a while now after 1st receiving one in a goodie bag at a blog meet and I instantly fell in love.  Recently Washi sent me over a pack of Washi Cloths and a little cleanser to try out together and I thought I would write a little review.

The cloth itself is around the same size as a normal face flannel only a little thinner but thicker and fluffier than a Muslin cloth.

The Cleanser they sent me smelled amazing a lovely rose scent. If felt lovely on the skin too and paired with the cloth it gave amazing results and easily washes all my makeup off.

To use I applied the cleanser to my face and rubbed it in gently around the stubborn eye makeup area and all around my face. I then took the cloth and ran it under the hot tap and squeezed out the excess water. I then used the cloth to remove my makeup making sure to be careful round the eye area.
The cloth removed every last trace of my makeup and left my face feeling smooth and exfoliated.

Price wise I think these are excellent value for money you can buy a pack of 7 here for £7.95 and they are machine washable (reusable) so a pack will last you a very long time.

Since using these I haven't bought any muslin cloths which I was using all the time. These are much gentler and also wash so much better. I can never seem to get the mascara out of the muslin cloths.

I would really recommend these also they come really nicely packaged so would be perfect as a little gift too

What Im loving at the Moment | Lifestyle Post

So I've been a little bad with posting monthly favourites lately so thought I would show you what I'm loving at the moment instead.

This is a mixture of everything I have been loving at the moment from beauty to snacks and just general pass times.

So to kick it off I absolutely love bath time and bath products. My favourites at the moment are Victoria Secrets Bath oil, Any body shop shower gels and Lush's Comforter bubble bar and the Butter Ball. I know now its summer I should be enjoying showers but I find nothing more relaxing than laid in the bath with my Ipad catching up on my favourite blogs and you tube channels.

lush

Kallisto Creams makes some amazing natural products and I have been using their Grapefruit Hand softner every night before bed. I love the scent of this and how it makes my hands feel the next morning.

Next is a snack from a Company called Urban Fruit they specialise in gently baked fruit no additives just fruit. I have been on lots of long train journey lately for meets and things and I have found these the perfect travelling snack.
My favourite has to be the Mango at the moment I cant get enough of it, because they are baked at a low heat the juice and flavour is locked in and it isn't rubbery like some dried fruit. Plus its healthy snacking but really kicks those sweat cravings.

Hot chocolate once again something I shouldn't be enjoying in Summer but I love a Hot chocolate from my favourite cafe (Totties) when the summer showers are out whilst taking in the picturesque views of Yorkshire. Me and my partner can spend hours talking and drinking hot choc and lattes.

totties

Walking the dogs is a lot more fun now the weather is warmer and the woods less like a bog! we live in the middle of the countryside so there is lots of amazing walks on our doorstep.

So that's what I have been loving the last few months I haven't included any make up items as I have been changing them up quite a lot as im trying out all my new summer shades.

What have you been loving at the moment??

Clarins Hydra Quench Cream Normal to Dry Skin | Review

My dry skin has been a pain in the backside lately and wearing foundation has been a nightmare as can look really flaky. A friend of mine recently went for microdermabrasion and was given a few freebie samples. The Clairins Hydra Quench Cream* in Normal to Dry skin was one of them and because she has very oily skin this was passed to me.

Moisturiser

This is my 1st Clarins moisturiser and I have to say I am impressed. Here is what Clairins say about the ingredients -
Hyaluronic acid helps to restore the skin's water reserves.
Katafray extract reinforces the barrier effect of the outer layer of the skin, limiting dehydration.
Extracts of rowan tree buds boost the skin's radiance.
An anti-pollution complex, exclusive to Clarins, protects the skin against the harmful effects of the environment.
Sun filters protect the skin against premature ageing.

moisturiser

The Cream itself is nice and creamy and smooths into the skin beautifully. It is a lightweight formula and I don't find it sticky at all, my makeup glides on perfectly afterwards.

moisturiser

I am definitely going to repurchase this at some point as I love my skin at the moment when I use this. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. It also has a built in SPF which is a brilliant bonus for this time of year.

Seventeen Gel Colours in Pretty Bang Bang and Emerald Tropics | Review

Boots 3 for 2 is a killer for my bank balance and a few weeks ago it was on again and I had to go and have a little nosey. I was pretty good and settled on 3 nail polishes 2 for the Seventeen Gel Colour Range.

seventeen gel colour Emerald Tropics

I cannot remember the last time I purchased from Seventeen it was probably as a teenager but for some reason these stood out to me.

Pretty Bang Bang a gorgeous pastel purple and Emerald Tropics is a light emerald in the bottle but the pigmentation is amazing and shows up really bright.

I love the brushes on these polishes they are so thick and cover the nail well. It is easy to apply and gives full coverage in one coat but says to add 2 coats for maximum coverage.

seventeen gel colour Emerald Tropics

Seventeen say the Gel Colour will last upto 8 days and I have to say Its true. I wore mine to go away for a week and didn't want to take a polish with me. It lasted the week with only a few tiny chips the last day. Amazing to say I was washing up and doing lots of different activities.

seventeen gel colour Emerald Tropics

I will definitely be picking up a few more of these in the next 3 for 2 deal they may be one of the best polishes I have ever bought and at £3.99 so worth it. You can get them here from Boots In 15 gorgeous shades and also collect some beautiful points.

Bliss Beauty Spa | Horsforth Launch Night

Bliss is the Number 1 Independent beauty Spa in Leeds run by Beverley Silver and Andre Pattison. 2003 Saw the opening of  the very 1st Salon in West Park and now they have just opened their 4th and have their 5th opening soon!

Last Friday I went to the Launch Night of their 4th Spa on Town Street, Horsforth. The Spa itself is housed in the Old Post office and wow what a transformation.

spa

The Spa pride their selves on specialising in more than one brand Elemis, Crystal Clear and Dermalogica been a few making each treatment tailored to the customer.

The rooms were very Clean looking without looking clerical  and very spacious. Upstairs there is 2 treatment rooms and a shower room and I have to say they didn't hold back on the decor the shower room looked very relaxing exactly what you expect from a top Spa.

Down stairs saw the Main room with the Reception and a small nail bar with another large room coming off it with a much larger nail bar. This really has everything all under one roof Including sunbeds too and a spray tan room. What more could you want?

I have to say what a lovely and relaxed evening it was and we also had amazing performances throughout the evening from X-Factor Finalist Stacey Camps with gave it a lovely touch.

I had a really nice time and the staff were so friendly Beverley took time to talk about the business and you could tell her passion for this industry and I can see it growing and growing.

Can't wait to come back for a treatment some time in the near future.
