Soap and Glory Flake awaySunday, October 27, 2013
I have to say, I don’t think I have come across a Soap and Glory product that I haven’t liked yet but this by far is my favorite. I really love body scrubs especially ones that smell as good as this one!.... Yummy!
The description states that it’s amazing smell is down to ‘leafy greens, bergamot and mandarin, with floral and fruity middle notes, and a soft, sexy, musk, oakmoss, amber and woody drydown’. I have no idea what this means or what any of these ingredient are but I do know it smells good.
The product itself has a lovely thick texture with lots of little exfoliating grains , I love scooping it out of the tube with my fingers.
I find with this as I do with most exfoliating products it is lots better to use them in the shower than in the bath.
The directions say to apply a small amount of scrub onto damp skin and massage in circular motions until most of the grains are gone. Rinse well, pat dry and apply moisturiser over the top ‘
I suffer with the odd dry patch on my arms and legs and since I have been using this from the start of the summer I have noticed my skin is much smoother. I love this stuff which is why I am off to buy another pot on my way home from work as I am down to my last tiny bit. At £7.50 for 300ml, I think this is a steal.
Just be sure to make sure you rinse off well cos it does leave a little greasiness if not which has in the past cause me to break out particularlt on the top of my back and sholders, but with a good thorough rinse its not a problem at all.
Also just to mention,if you leave it a while in your cupboard it goes kinda watery, as mine has started to in the picture above. I have had this for a while now so i'm not too upset about it.
If you are looking for a good scrub for the winter I would recommend you give this a go.
Keep your eye out for the offers on in Boots stores as they often offer a buy one get one half price deal on soap and Glory products. Which is your favorite Soap and Glory product?
