Lush's Angels on Bare SkinThursday, October 03, 2013
I was running out of my Liz Earle cleanser and thought why not try something different. I dropped in Lush on a recent shopping trip to Meadowhall and asked they're advise on a fresh cleanser.
The cleanser I decided on was Angels on Bare Skin. The reason I choose this beauty was I have a lot of redness (the slightest comment and I turn into a beetroot even if I don't think I'm embarrassed) and this reduces redness and evens out skin tone.
This is different to any other cleanser I have tried as it is a solid rather than a liquid. A little strange at first but I rather like the idea now. You pinch of a small pea size amount and mix with a little water to make a paste.
I then rub the milk like mixture into the face and rinse with warm water.
I love this on my skin and as soon as I washed it off the first time my skin felt smoother and soft to touch. The secret ingredient is the ground almonds these gently exfoliate the skin leaving it feeling like a babies bottom.
I use this every morning and the difference it has made to my once dry flaky skin. No more reaching for the harsh exfoliants just to make sure I don't look like my face is peeling off every time I wear foundation.
Kaolin is included to absorb grease and and gently cleanse, vegetable glycerine to soften and moisturise the skin and a beautiful blend of essentials all are added to balance and tone the skin. The a lovely sprinkling of lavender flowers are added to the mix whilst rolling.
I can honestly say this little miracle worker as done my skin no end of good and I know feel I can have them lazy no makeup days, without the fear of scarring little kids.
Has anyone else got a different opinion on this would love to know if it didn't really work for you.
