Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector

Friday, October 11, 2013

This little gem was on last years Christmas list and it will no doubt appear on this years list too.

Clinique pore refining solutions instant perfector has been a great SOS product for me this year, really helping me to achieve a more flawless coverage that i would just using foundation.

I have had mine quite a while so the print has rubbed off a bit making the tube hard to read so i have used a picture from the internet.

I honestly think this is the best pore refining product i have tried closely followed by estee lauder idealist.

You only need a small amount to visibly see a difference. I suffer with open pores on my cheeks and chin and instantly on applying the cream i notice that my pores look much smaller. I have no idea how this works i guess the cream kinda 'fills in' the pores as apposed to actually physically reducing them but as long as it makes a difference i don't care how it does it. : )

This is how much i use on my cheeks with a little more for in between my eyebrows. It feels lovely to rub almost like a smooth paste.

Once fully rubbed in it is invisible leaving a natural-looking matte finish which apparently  lasts up to 8 hours but i can't really confirm as i use a few mattifying products at once.

Clinique also claim this product to be resistant against sweat and humidity , i have worn this while ihave been in the gym a few times and it didn't budge i also wore it a lot in mexico which was very humid and is still performed great!
The perfector cream comes in two skin tone shades and Invisible Bright for subtle brightening which is the one i went for.

I think at £20 it is priced to reflect its qualify, it does come in quite a small thbe but it lasts aaaagggges so well worth it.

One thing to mention is that it does not mix well with thicker foundations , it tends to clump and seperate which is disappointing. I would recommed wearing it over make up for best results.
