Sorry we are so late this month we have both been having Internet troubles but like they say... Better late than never!!!!
Old Faithful -
Lush's Butterball bath bomb I have had a few of these these last few months and I really like the way they make me afterwards. I have dry skin and sometime it can make my skin feel tight and I hate having dry legs but if I pop this in the bath I come out silky soft and I feel so relaxed. This was my first ever purchase from Lush and I know I will keep buying it.
New Discovery -
Smashbox photofinish Primer I was given a sample of this from Lisa and i have to say i have been loving it. I still like my Benefit Porefessional and I know I will keep buying it but i do love the Smashbox primer for days when i only use a light coverage or just concealer. It feels like your rubbing pearls into your skin and leaves your face flawless.
Most Reccomended -
Real Techniques Contour brush I have been using this everyday for my Bronzer to contour my face and also use it for my blush and it gives amazing results it if the perfect size and is so soft too. I love all their brushes but this has been the one i have found myself using everyday this month.
Not For Me -
Not really tried anything i didnt like this month other than a product i got in my Glossy Box and that was a makeup remover pen. The pen itself is a good idea but the part to take the makeup off is very hard and feels very scatchy on the skin. This makes it difficult to remove eye makeup and mascara on the delicate eye area.
Old faithful –
Flake away body scrub by Soap and Glory, I have been using this for ever it smells divine and leave my skin feeling amazingly smooth definitely try this out if you get chance.
I like to use this in the shower after I have shaved my legs, for extra smoothness and it works
wonders on little dry spots I get on my arms. Make sure you rinse it off thoroughly.
Liz Earle super skin – I got this in a travel kit as a small tester tube and will definitely be buying the full size. I have had it in my dresser for ages as I was using a decleor one but I really love the smell of this and the fact that it goes with the rest of my Liz Earle routine. I can definately say that using this oil on an evening after the cleanse and polish has made a noticeable difference to my skin.
If you are tempted to try an oil find one tailored to your skin type and please don’t be put off if you have oily skin, theres one for you too, using products like this does wonders for balancing out your skins ph and I have noticed less breakouts and oiliness since I have been using this.
Most recommended –
Estee Lauder, Double wear , Maximum cover camouflage makeup.
I have been buying this for years, I started buying this when I was a teenager to cover blemishes. It offers fantastically full coverage but is very heavy so it is best not to apply it all over your face if you can help it although I have done this a couple of times and it leaves you with the most perfect coverage. This stuff is amazing for girls with pigmentation or acne and it can even be used on the body too. This had been a god send for me over the years and I can’t believe I hav’e written a post on it yet, I will be sure to do one soon.
Not for me -
SEVENTEEN back lash mascara, great applicator brush but terrible product, you need lots of coats to get a decent result which leads to eyelashes falling out in clumps! Avoid at all costs.
Some times it is true that you get what you pay for I will not be buying this again and to be honest ithas put me off trying anything else from the range, I haven’t even braved the gel liner I got for free with this product.
